So, Dottie had another gunklung flare up Sunday AM. Scans indicate her lungs are still hot garbage, and probably always will be, but SHE IS NOT IN HEART FAILURE. She's still HW+, but has no microfiliarae in her blood. Can take up to a year to test negative.

I am switching Dottie's heartworm preventative to Advantage multi - the "Moxi" in the Moxi-Doxy HW treatment-she's already done the Doxy. Vet doesn't think it will hurt, but w/her severe heart issues probably won't help.

Last night, Dottie slept peacefully for the first time since I adopted her. She was not struggling to breathe, and I barely heard her. Her cough has dropped off as well, it was awful on Monday.

No shots for Dottie. Her heart is swollen and her lungs are a mess. She's going on Lasix and Prednisone to get the fluid off and clear up her lungs. But the vet said it's very clear she wants to get better.
So instead we're going to PeePee City, here we come!!

Dottie sees the vet Monday. I am pretty sure the vet is going to tell me she is at least Stage 3 and has pulmonary hypertension. Please send pozzies that she can be stabilized quickly so she can get her shots.

I just wanted to commend Lady Gaga for putting credits up before her set at Coachella. You know the big artists, you don't know the names of the people behind the scenes who are making this full scale production. More artists should follow in her footsteps.
