SO excited to share my work w/ @kevindkohl.bsky.social and collabs on the gut microbiome of fluid preserved hosts! Species-specific microbiomes were retained despite preservation across vertebrates 🫙🐟🐸🐍🐀I hope this will increase use of valuable museum specimens in research!
