Great response to the lie being sold to us by the LLM techlords and the folks who are too afraid not to buy into said lie.

"I think AI is only inevitable when we believe the lie of its inevitability."

Yep, that.
Apparently I'm doing this -- my open letter to that open latter about AI in writing and publishing. I emerged from Hibernation Week to write it, so god only knows how much sense it makes. But at least a human wrote it, so that's nice.

My Open Letter To That Open Letter About AI In Writing And Publishing
The tl;dr before you get into this post is this: the SFWA came out, said that some AI usage was okay enough in books for the authors of those books to not to be disqualified from winning a Nebula a…

Looks like it is available on Xbox and Playstation, so could try it there if it looks interesting to you. Similar play style to Avowed, just a bit darker and based on the whole Arthur legend (changed of course).

Really enjoyed Avowed. Am curious if you tried Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon yet? It's a really well done RPG by a smaller team, highly recommend it.

Ugh that's a bad way to spend a day. Here's hoping that they were able to help quickly. :(

Whelp that was a fast purchase, thanks for the heads up. Somehow I missed that one.

I've been an avid reader my entire life, one who has loved collecting books. Now that I'm older I've noticed a marked change in my mentality -- I prefer buying books digitally.

I think I'm just over having a lot of 'stuff' in my life and have been purging like crazy lately.

When it comes to balls-to-the-wall horror, nobody is does it like Bentley Little. He's at his best writing horror featuring bureaucratic organizations. Try THE BANK or THE MAILMAN, or my favorite: DMV. A horror story in itself, as anyone who's waited there can attest.

Looking forward to checking out how #Daggerheart plays in a darker setting. Will be tuning in for EP0 next week to see character creation.
AGE OF UMBRA is a new 8-episode #Daggerheart series coming May 29th to Beacon, Twitch, and YouTube!

GM and Age of Umbra designer Matthew Mercer leads the #CriticalRole founders through a dark, survival fantasy undertaking, in which small communities hold fast against the darkness of a dying world.

I left twitter when you know who bought it and finally am giving Bluesky a shot. I very much missed the puppers daily walk pictures. :)
