I am beyond tired from three nights without sleep as child 2 has a nasty cough that keeps him and therefor me awake. We are doing it all, herbal teas, „onion honey“, inhalation and today my strongest weapon, chicken soup.
But I need sleep soon. Lots.

Last year for the first time I made #sloe liqueur as a libation to my #ancestors and the #matrons. This year I was lucky to harvest enough so that there would be enough for the living too (and the plants were still hanging full). I also made jelly from the marc.

#samhain is not a day, it’s a period of time. It’s like a wave of energy. It begins quite a bit before 31st of October and lasts longer than the 1st of November. Today I’ll fill my #sloe liqueur, try my best to make jelly of the remains and then cook my most beloved #ancestor recipe!

#witchtip (Part 1): to make a #spell work effectively make sure you hit all the planes… material, astral, emotional… you get it If there is a song that touches you, makes you giddy, angry, hopeful or sad, use it! Same works for smells, pictures etc.
