A few years back, some liked to explain the Christian Right’s reactionary posture in terms of marginalization driving a sense of desperation. But in the last 24 hours, with all their new power & glory, I’ve seen more cruelty & hate spewing from the Chr Right than ever before. So much for that.

Today I discovered there's an app that folks can use to automatically follow people on Bluesky in the effort to build their own follower counts. Which helps explain some of what's going on. Can't say I care for it!

Homan's wikipedia page no longer states that the motivation for family separations is to prevent human trafficking. Maybe that is because separating children from their parents and putting them in cages within a for-profit system is the very definition of human trafficking.
