Everyone has someone who likes them. In the case of trump and musk, I’m not so sure. Given that, how is there so much support for the destruction of America. Sure hope someone is chronicling what is happening.

I admire and respect the majority of law enforcement officers, although some have gone over the line. It is interesting that musk and trump are leaving enforcement entities alone.

Suspicions confirmed. Yesterday musk stated that the government bureaucrats (gov employees) were not even elected, so they were subject to dismissal anytime, completely overlooking the fact he is also unelected.

My thoughts led me to this, after college and several careers, I know that what we and our country are experiencing are wrong. Lives are being disrupted and destroyed. We must do the right things to correct the wrongs. Fight and resist.

At 17 I joined the Marines in 1961, and in so doing encountering my first black, asian and other ethnicities. No overt discrimination was allowed. From there I went to Memphis and naval tech training, right in the middle of race conflict. I know right from wrong at a deep level and was silent.

I grew up a relatively moral person, inculcated in the standards of my small western Oregon town. Bigotry and racism were never present. My school from 1-12 had no ethnicity but white. I suppose that I was lucky, skipping all the angst and anguish associated with being white.

Hope you folks are paying attention. Trump is dismantling government one agency at a time. This is just the beginning.

Okay veterans. If you voted for trump, a draft dodger and military hater, remember he nominated a morally deficient idiot to run the pentagon and have access to nuclear codes.

I am a veteran, 61-65, and am reading about veterans families being denied federal jobs, with disastrous consequences for their families. For some reason these folks felt compelled to vote for trump, expecting rational behavior. For my part, even I expect to be affected by this guy and am bracing

Here is a task for data wonks. I have been pondering how might we tabulate all the people trumpamort adversely affects through his actions and compare this number with those he has helped.

I pulled out of Facebook today after Zuck’s recent move. Tired of it anyway. This means I’m new to this site. At 81, I want a site that provides intelligent discourse that may lead to interesting discussions not filled with moronic comments. I don’t have time for the childish material.
