- slightly under-rated ugin
- was right about Mox jasper; it’s bad even if you’re memeing dragons
- clarion conqueror does solo some historic decks but hasn’t been widely adopted yet; it’s a self-own for a lot of decks and prohibits Lurrus
- missed Cori-steel cutter entirely 👎

Have we found the good cards for Modern+ in the FF main set yet? They keep dribbling the previews so slowly I can’t focus.
I guess the WW cloud is supposed to be pushed, but Stoneforge. The 1U living weapon quirion dryad seems like a standard role player not something I actively want.

I had extremely little interest in Aetherdrift because it was low-powered. (hat set didn't help, but see below)

Bad news, gamers: I feel much happier and more productive when I shift my free time and podcast diet toward work and away from Magic. I had a rough time at work for 1-2 years and I’ve been out of it for 1 year; don’t need the escape so much anymore. I will still play, but probably trending less.

GPT 4o seems like the clear writing on the wall — Magic card art seems likely to involve this within a couple years if prices remain anything close to stable and the lawyers can get to a way to OK it. The turnaround time and quality are too good as long the rights are secured during concepting.
