My doc once told me walk your dog every day, even if you don't have one. Well, I do and I do. Still, I'm getting older & need more exercise. So, I've started playing Pokemon Go. It's a blast & it's tripled the miles I've been walking.

The vicious cycle of monopolization:

1) Corporations argue that their growth is just part of the free market.
2) Use their monopoly power to gouge consumers.
3) Take a portion of their profits to make political donations.
4) Lobby against antitrust enforcement.
5) Repeat.

Just finished "These Truths: A History of the United States" by Jill Lepore. As everything I've read by her, it's excellent. Although I must say when she got into current events by the end of the book it was a bit sad (but that due to the reality).

He has an eye to eye way in how he presents his story that’s comfortable.
