You can lower a rope to a burrito taxi.

AI ruins everything.

Same here. I've been using the one that's downloaded directly to the Pi for network installs.

I'm right there with you but I found our whole blob's closeness to the cryptocurrency blob disheartening.

Ghost energy drinks went up from $25 to $30 for 12 this month.

Can I draw a circle around the cryptocurrency advocates blob and block them all at once?

I've seen some similar projects, but IMO this seems to better capture some of the fine-grained detail

Since we're doing MIDI things now, this seems worth posting.

Local woman Nicole Black converted her Novation SL61 MkIII MIDI Controller, originally purchased as a beginner instrument for music production, into a thing to stack shit on, sources report.

That'd be great! I hit Blue Sky solo around 3 today. Hardly anyone on the trail. It's been an annual tradition for a few years now.

bike trails are the same.

@pinkcurmudgeon.bsky.social Imagine how much beer we could boot leg in the 1920s if we had a DeLorean and a flux capacitor!

Is there a dot loser TLD yet? I hope Sub Pop Records controls it. Or Beck.

I bought an Adcom CD changer right out of college. It broke but I still have an Adcom amp and preamp from the same era. Lol.

That seems accurate! Same here. There's a patch of trail in the shade on the north facing side of the mountain that should be solid glaze death ice from January through March. It was dry dirt today.

Another 18 C day in winter in Colorado. This is at 2100 m. There should at least be some packed ice and snow from the last snow. There isn't.

Inflation definitely isn't under control. Safeway raised a case of Odell beer from $36 to $42 and my breakfast burritos from $2.99 to $3.49 each.

It's the frustrated AI banging it's head on the wall.

All the code, PCB, and enclosure design files are already on GitHub. Good luck sorting it all out tho. Hoping to get the blog post with detailed instructions and photos up in a few weeks. These things take time to photograph and write.

Work in progress. MIDI controller triggers an RP2040 to play stereo 48 ksps sound effects off a microSD card through an I2S DAC and amplifier.

Jason Veritek went to Georgia Tech while I was there. Cool seeing him play in the majors after seeing him in school. Wikipedia sounds like he's still in Boston so probably not him coaching little league in Atlanta. ๐Ÿ˜€

That's the big difference between the dot com boom and the AI boom. The dot com boom was accompanied by a myriad of job opportunities for just about anyone with some tech skills. The AI boom, not so much.

Unless you make acquiring the necessary documents free of charge, would this not amount to a poll tax?
