HB 3187 (the Texas House bill to cut DART) died last night! Time ran out to schedule it for a vote on the House floor. Huge victory for @ridewithdata.org! The game’s not over yet, because SB 1557 (that does the same thing) is still floating out there, but the HB dying is major progress.

This year, Dallas was named a Bronze level Bicycle Friendly Community! But what does that mean & how do we improve? Join the Dept. of Transportation & Public Works in partnership with the Bike League for a 1.5 day workshop on April 23-24 to discuss opportunities to make cycling safer in our city.

Leave a comment on the bike plan at dallasbikeplan2025.org! Join DBC in sending a clear message to our city's leadership- we need more funding and we need to build a basic bike network faster than 20 years. Dallas roads are dangerous, and
this is a solution.

Today we’re announcing our 2025 advocacy goals to the public!

Pass the Bike Plan 👉 Build the Bike Plan 👉 Make it safe

We need more funding and we have to build faster. Dallas roads are dangerous and this is a solution 👇

Community advocacy is necessary to be sure Dallas not only passes the forthcoming Dallas Bike Plan but also to be sure the city implements the projects citywide. Dallas had a great plan in 2011, but very little of it was built.
