I agree with many fans that Mike was the right guy to take over for Al Michaels on the NFL, and certainly was the right choice to replace Bob Costas doing primetime coverage of the Olympics.

This Super Bowl felt like a slow moving bowling ball. Field goal after field goal, after field goal. The offense from New England, not sure how to describe it, even after their first TD in the fourth quarter. The interception that became a Pick 6 sealed it. Seattle got their revenge after 11 years

Outside of the final few drives, this was an awesome performance. Seattle is very deserving of this Super Bowl championship.

The halftime show usually gets higher ratings than the game itself. Even YouTube puts the halftime show separately from the game, if you go back through the decades.

With this being America’s unofficial national holiday, I hope for at least a few hours to put our differences aside and enjoy the game.
Many players will have their life change tonight, especially those who get to hold the Vince Lombardi Trophy. 60 minutes for a world championship, nothing better.
