Not really an overstatement to say that the test of a free society is whether or not comedians can make fun of the country's leader on TV without repurcussions.

The overall takeaway from the Epstein survivors’ press conference is that they are united and are no longer going to allow rich and powerful men to victimize, silence and intimidate them.

Including the ones in Congress and the perp in the Oval Office.

Colbert's show will be remembered fondly for being funny and well-written; having the amazing Jon Batiste leads his house band; for his refusal to bend the knee to Trump.

But I hope people also remember that he was an incredibly empathetic interviewer.

My review of the Superman film.

I’d seen murmurings from MAGAs that the movie was “woke” (used as a pejorative) and “anti-Israel.” Not only are these claims false, but I can tell why this movie angered the MAGA cult. Here’s why Superman is a must see:

It has been running continuously since 1991 and has provided massive key knowledge about diseases in women

If you live in Indiana

the combination of SB2, which will arbitrarily cut 28% of medicaid recipients from its rolls

and the newly passed federal House budget, which will require cuts to medicaid

means many many many more people will now be uninsured

this helps none of us
