RIP Melissa Hortman, MN Speaker of the House. Responsible for so much good that was done there. Admired and beloved by so many. Assassinated by a member of the MAGA right wing death cult. Her husband and dog were also killed in the attack. They leave behind two children. Their kids’ statement is important: “The best way to honor our parents' memory is to do something, whether big or small, to make our community just a little better for someone else.” RIP Melissa Hortman, MN Speaker of the House.
