So Starmer and Reeves can't bring themselves to admit they broke a manifesto promise on the budget, and then tonight they have u-turned on their manifesto promise on workers' rights. And people ask me why I have left the Labour Party? #clueless

@tomswarbrick.bsky.social can you put a link up regarding your chat about Manchester Councillors concerned about losing their jobs in May? I left the Labour Party in Lincoln for this reason. My allegiance is to my constituents, not Starmer.

I thought Labour was going to stop second jobs for MPs?
Just caught up with the politcal shows today. Wes Streeting gave a valiant effort defending the incompetence of Keir Starmer and his Govt but theres no doubt time is running out for Starmer. Wes might be the one to take the reins but IMO the damage is done. Starmer has over promised & under acieved.

I like Starmer, and he made a good speech yesterday. But I feel he has lost the Country. I'm not sure he can come back from the poor decisions he made at the start of his Premiership. He might have four years to turn things around; I don't.

Keir Starmer says 'we will be judged at the next General Election'......well, some of us good local councillors will be judged way before then!! I'm not sure I'm too happy about that statement.
