I wanted to share probably the most important sermon I’ve given and it’s while I’m being arrested. It’s torture pure and simple what happens at #Broadview. I’m ok, though I was thrown to the ground and choked with my pectoral cross. A review of the video shows I was peaceful - did I deserve this?

Oh but your boss has said they are down.
Kevin Hassett lies shamelessly: "The price of groceries has gone up almost not at all this year."

He is such an awful person.
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

Beautiful northern lights here in Minnesota.

Tell me Kevin, WHY are those agencies “down”?

🤡
CNBC: When do you we get the economic data releases? We're craving data, especially on jobs

HASSETT: We're gonna be staring a little bit in cloudy weather for a while until we get the data agencies back up

“Concepts of a plan”
BARNICLE: What is the Treasury Dept doing to lessen job insecurity in this country?

BESSENT: What Trump is doing to bring back high-paying manufacturing jobs is all about job security

BARNICLE: How many jobs have come back?

BESSENT: It's just starting

Politics is war without the shooting.

Rs understand this.

Ds do not.
Trump is 30 points underwater. Dems swept the special elections. People know the GOP is responsible for the shutdown. So the Dem Senators pulled out their big guns... and shot themselves in the foot.

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

Ds have everything to gain by holding out and forcing Rs to kill the filibuster.

1) Rs get all the blame for all the outcomes

2) Ds get to do the things they need to do in the future.
The GOP claim that Democrats are responsible for the shutdown keeps being undermined by Trump, who is demanding they unilaterally end it by abolishing the filibuster. Trump says Republicans are being killed and he’s not wrong. They control the federal government.

I do not love Gavin Newsom. But this is how you FIGHT!
Newsom: "It's not about rule of law anymore. It's rule of Don. He's choosing which court decisions he agrees with. He's quite literally running an extortion racket. He's doing it with some of the most powerful corporate leaders. What does everything have in common? Tariffs. They're about leverage"

"If that is not a problem that Trump could solve, then why did he say it?"

That is the follow up question!
Pressed by Stephanopoulos on the fact that electricity prices have in fact gone up, Bessent punts: "Electricity prices are a state problem ... look, there are things the federal government can control. Local electricity prices are not one of them."

Never confuse noise with progress.
Duffy: "Can I make one other point about POTUS before we're out of time? I have never seen someone work so hard. All day long he's moving, he's meeting, he's thinking. Dinners he's usually meeting with people. And then at night he's still on the phone calling people! He doesn't stop. He's a machine"

You understand correctly Senator Murphy.
Chris Murphy: "There will be pretty substantial damage to a Dem brand that has been rehabilitated if on the heels of an election in which the people told us to keep fighting, we immediately stop... if we surrender without having gotten anything, I worry it'll be hard to get them back up off the mat"

Area arsonist brags about putting out the fire he started while standing in front of the still burning building and demanding he be praised for his efforts.
Trump: "We made a wonderful deal for everybody. Our farmers, as you know, with the soybeans at levels that nobody has ever seen before. If we didn't have the tariffs, we wouldn't have been able to do that."

Who is “us” and on what authority are you demanding a Danish company surrender part of their business?
Trump to the Novo Nordisk CEO: "Maybe you should give us a piece of the company like I've been asking for."

He means “the Ds always rolled over and then we screwed them from behind later and they don’t want that anymore.”
Baier: “Is there a deal that can be made to end this government shutdown in your mind?”

Trump: “I think the Democrats have become radicalized. I think, you know, this never happened before. They always extend…They should automatically extend, and we will make a deal as soon as they do.”
