I've received a quite fascinating email.

This person claims they've singlehandedly blocked 33 sales of my books.

Any chance I can get 34 books sold off this to annoy them?

Please RT!

It's the time of year when trees cast off the fruit they know won't make it, to save their energy for the ones that will.

I have found these over the past couple of days; a horse chestnut with tiny, soft spikes, a crab apple and a cultivated apple from Zreče, our twin town.

What delicious, unexpected delight for my poor bruised heart.

The sweetest raspberry I have tasted in a long time - we left plenty for the birds 💚

Here is a #meditation for the #Solstice – the moment when the sun stands still

You don’t have to do this at the exact moment of stillness: it’s the connection that counts, re-affirming our connection to the web of life

None of my pre-adult writing exists & I mourn that lost connection with my younger self.
Today, this intention in my 14 yr old hand showed me nothing has changed.
Except now, braver & wiser about my fears of creating & sharing, I get to take that girl by the hand & create what she always dreamt of.

This sheep (adopted from the Lake District), used to sit on my car's parcel shelf to remind me that there were green hills out there in the days when I used to sit in commuter traffic jams. She's happily retired now, and today I found her cuddled up with a new friend.

It can all feel a bit much sometimes, can't it?

If it all feels a bit much for you right now, this is for you.

The minute it took me to make this helped me, I hope it helps you too.

The sun before the storm.

Shortly after this I got completely soaked, but it was so worth it for the powerful scent of petrichor.

It truly felt like summer rain and it was so overwhelmingly delicious I could practically see those ions.

The cool waters, cleanse you;
Nature's bounty, replenish you;
The song of the trees, comfort you;
The knowledge of the bees, guide you.
