the labor of art is mostly invisible. what you don't see in a finished piece is all the hours of thought it required, all the little discoveries and surprises and tragedies of production. art IS the process. if you aren't interested in the process, then i don't really know why you want to be artist

They don't really look like much, but it's difficult to describe the impact of these experiments. Many of our colleagues were quite surprised that this kind of thing could actually work. All that we'd done before—Mindgame, Animatrix, going back to Noiseman and Extra—was considerably less complex.

Made basic beginners guide to using the camera in storyboards. the gist being the camera is for revealing information & telling the story. Obviously there's exceptions to this, but when you're just starting out trying to get these ideas down first before moving on to crazier dynamic stuff.
