It’s important to keep in mind that Trump hasn’t actually accomplished anything. The United States does not control Venezuela in any way. Trump’s blather about running the country is meaningless. In the real world, an interim president has already been appointed.

I remember when they were saying they were powerless to return a man they illegally sent to an El Salvador gulag because it would violate that country's national sovereignty.

At the same time, the "hybrid" war is raging on the internet. National borders with their physical fences and roadblocks don't matter. War is increasingly ephemeral.

The front line in Ukraine is no longer defined by physical trenches, but by information -- knowing who is where. If a Russian infiltration unit gets found by the Ukrainians, it gets eliminated immediately. As long as Ukraine doesn't have that information, the unit is fine.
