Clearly inspired by them, though. This is honestly a relief. Haha.

The Pulse Rifle in Romulus was one thing, explained as being an unstable version of the M41A Pulse that came a few years later, which a dude invented in a shed.
So why is there an M41A Pulse in Alien: Earth? 20 years before even Romulus. I hope this is a jump forward in time or something.

Back to the origins of the Alien franchise, a new still image is out of the Alien: Romulus Xenomorph.
This is a drone, often used in hives as scouts as well as the collectors of hosts.
With the numerous facehuggers shown in trailer as well, it's likely we'll see more than 1.
