Because there is evidence that God does not make Godself available to earnest seekers of such a relationship, this is evidence that such a God does not exist.

if the God of Christianity exists, God’s reality would be far more evident than it is. Arguably, in the Christian understanding of values, an evident relationship with God is part of the highest human good, and if God were loving, God would bring about such a good.
