USPS just added a regulation, Section 608.11, “Postmarks and Postal Possession" clarifying that the date you drop off your mail at the P.O. or in mail box may not be the same date it was accepted. Postmark date could be days after you dropped off your mail. www.federalregister.gov/documents/20...
