Not requesting an explanation, but growing up Catholic I thought as long as you confessed and did penance it was a get-out-of-hell-free card. Guessing at some point if you are so egregious the Pope can overrule that deciding you aren’t sincerely repenting.

Thanks for the photo! I know nothing about 3D printing and had been wondering how whistles were done - I couldn’t imagine individually given your quantities!

Cats are ensuring I take it easy after platelet/plasma donation.

My cat is getting texts now, for a Rx of the drug I decided against taking for osteoporosis - she's getting it to lower the calcium in her blood. And Wegmans had the best GoodRx price.

Looked to see if I could buy it directly from your store, but I'm guessing this other kerfuffle is delaying that.

Nice! I gave some multi player games I couldn’t use to a friend who in the past has hosted game nights in hopes of sparking one after she recovers from minor surgery.

Unfortunately, work requires us to come up with uses for it. I got mostly around it by creating an app help bot that only takes info from my own self-written docs - and it still doesn't always get it right.

We considered our present 4 stairs nothing compared to our previous house!

Yeah - this was really a kludge:

It's good you only have a small rise to your porch. When my wife broke her ankle the temporary ramp I managed for our house required at least 2 people to roll her up/down because the angle for 4 steps was steep (I couldn't get a long enough ramp to be ADA compliant).

Now if any of them are good at basic carpentry perhaps a movable ramp (of it’s only one step) for if you arrive home late from a gig?

When I changed cable companies in August I just only did internet, and all I been watching is PBS Passport - i only visited Netflix once to check out K-Pop Demon Hunters.

MY workplace accident was slicing a finger when the metal-looking but really plastic knob on the rest room tampon dispenser broke off. It resulted in them replacing the dispensers with cardboard boxes.

Thanks! I came across a paper copy recently sorting my wife's books, but I'm just not dealing with physical copies these days.

Following along, as this weekend my stress-induced pulse rate made me ineligible to donate blood (must be under 100bpm).

I'm trying winter sowing this year: put various native seeds in translucent jugs outdoors in sunlight with top open, let them get rained/snowed on, eventually they are supposed to sprout.

Pre-orders for the VALENTINE'S DAY KOBOLD HEART HOARDS are OPEN!! It's $25 for 10 hearts from my Big Heart Stash that I've been making for the past few weeks with various other goodies available as add-ons. I'm going to talk a little bit about the project in thread.

Supplementary alt test: A white plastic instrument shaped like a circle and an oblong bumped into each other. The round part has various buttons.

Appreciate this article noting that the instrument here (played by Sarah Goldstone) is something called an Omnichord and it's the most baller 1980s thing I've ever seen

Either this year will be really good or I won’t need to mow.

Do you have to subscribe after the free trial? The ios app store description isn’t clear about that.

The good news is I’m getting $480 refund from the vet. The bad news is it’s to make up for needing to do a THIRD fasting blood draw on Zoe bc their lab partner has again mishandled the Hypercalcemia of Malignancy panel processing (1st one skipped test, 2nd delayed sending the sample too long).

We’ll see how long this lasts before my legs fall asleep.

Did my first successful platelet donation yesterday. The phlebotomists at the new Bedford MA Red Cross managed to work with my “tiny” veins - earlier attempt in Boston failed bc they poked and just said “no good veins.”
