Christmas this year was hard.
My cat was very ill. I couldn’t get ahold of an older relative and spent a lot of time worried for her. I spent a lot of time mourning the connection I thought I had with my family too.
Even still, it’s the safest and most loved I’ve felt on Christmas Day in decades.

Men only accept intimacy from women and blame them for lacking it but “the male loneliness epidemic” would be cured if they could process intimacy that isn’t sexual or romantic

My apartment is in a busy area of my city and there’s close to a dozen bars within walking distance. It gets so loud at night and I think I’d lose my shit if I was on the ground floor. My window faces the sidewalk and unfortunately alcohol disables the part of your brain where the volume buttons are

I hate when people tell me I “have a gift” regarding my art. I worked my ass off to get here. I’ve poured thousands of hours into drawing. I’ve tried countless styles and mediums. I jeopardized my grades in school and my security at my jobs because I won’t stop drawing. It wasn’t a gift. I did that.
