Shitty opinion time. Whenever I see a someone especially a celebrity im attracted to lose a bunch of weight, 99% of my headspace is happy theyre getting healthy or getting to a body shape they want. That other 1% is kinda disappointed.

Second up on Tonights Movie slate is EVIL TOON. Oh hey Look, David Carridine stars in this one, he's going into a house, walking towards a noose... NO DONT DO IT DAVE, ITS NOT WORTH THE NUT!. Oh well who could have seen this cumming.

Tonights Horror ISNT Shock and Schlock, we've got FOLK HORROR tonigh. The name of this film is VIY and its Russian Folk Horror. VIY follows the story of a priest who gets ridden like a horse by a witch whom he then beats to death with a stick. well Oops this old hag is actually a young girl and the

Keep seeing posts shitting on dnd "because the rules are only meant to kill monsters and explore dungeons" so saying its anything else is misleading. Fuck your gatekeeping. Killing monsters & exploring dungeons are part of telling a story. So are tool proficiency checks and social interaction rolls.

Finally the last in the Hellraiser series before the Reboot, Hellraiser: judgement. wait.... its... kinda good? maybe my brain is mush after the previous abysmal installments but I kinda got caught up in this one. Props to Gary J. Tunnicliffe who wrote and did props for the early Hellraisers.

Next up in the Hellraiser Film Marathon is Hellraiser: Revelations. Turns out there's a lower rung on the ladder than cash-grab and that rung is "we need a script made in two weeks so we can keep the IP" movie. Holy Shit, are we really doing a found footage Hellraiser movie. have we sunk that low?

Say hi to the nice maga couple who moved through the protest trying to provoke people. No bait taken and they shut up real fast when I started recording.

Okay, the 6th film: This is bad, which is a shame because it connects to the first two films through the return of Kirsty Cotton. This is another script that feels like it got stamped with the HELLRAISER title, and honestly, reading the original idea for the film, how the fuck

The fifth film, HELLRAISER: INFERNO — oof. I love Craig Sheffer; his work in Nightbreed is seminal. But here, he just feels like they couldn’t afford David Boreanaz.

The whole movie plays like a generic TV horror script someone slapped the Hellraiser name on to make it sell.

The fourth film, HELLRAISER IV: BLOODLINE, is honestly the last I can recommend watching at the moment. It’s a small step up from the last one and a final attempt at a return to form, but it still doesn’t hold a candle to 1 & 2.

Okay, the third HELLRAISER film is HELLRAISER III: HELL ON EARTH. This is where the series first shows its cracks. It’s largely divorced from the other two films, except for the reiteration of Pinhead’s backstory — which gets moved to World War I.

Tonight’s other SHOCK & SCHLOCK horror movie MARATHON is none other than the first six movies of the HELLRAISER series. I actually won’t be doing the first because I’ve done it before and it’s a classic, so let’s do 2–6. To start off with, HELLBOUND: HELLRAISER II — the direct sequel to the first,

Tonight’s other SHOCK & SCHLOCK horror film is THE TOXIC AVENGER. That’s right — the new one. (I also realize I’ve missed a couple of days; that’s because I’m doing the full run of Hellblazer movies — from the awesome to the really bad.)
I was very hesitant to watch this movie, being a Troma fan,

Tonight’s other SHOCK & SCHLOCK horror film is REPO MAN. No, not REPO! The Genetic Opera (though I may have to watch that this year — I’ve been to enough shadowcasts), and not REPO MEN with Jude Law. This REPO MAN stars Emilio Estevez as a young punk who gets caught up in the repo business,

Tonight’s other SHOCK & SCHLOCK horror film is SORORITY BABES IN THE SLIMEBALL BOWL-O-RAMA. Honestly, the sorority babes are lost on me. What isn’t lost on me is Hal Havins. WOOF. In a good way. Too bad he dies early.
