It’s been a tough few weeks. My 10yo daughter was diagnosed with a very rare, aggressive cancer called interdigitating dendritic cell sarcoma (IDCS). I’m reaching out to identify clinicians/patients who have encountered pediatric IDCS or other (non-LCH) dendritic or histiocytic sarcomas cases.

If you truly believe that your tech can be helpful to others then don’t leave it behind a paywall on a journal. Do what you can to push it out of academia and into the real world. It is hard, but I think it is super important. You have to be the biggest champion of your own tech!

I like to keep a personal hall of fame that includes the folks that said “yes” when I asked for help or needed an opportunity
It was a lot easier for them to say “no”
I keep my hall of fame as a ppt slide and was lucky to present it in front of many of them at my PhD defense ❤️
