Frankly, I don’t mind if the Reds have a bit of an off season, within reason, because it gives me a bit more time to process just how great it was to win the league last season + to have a big think about what a great club this is and what amazing players we have.

Really need the Reds to come back with a whole new mindset from the international break. The last few weeks have been disastrous, relegation form. Only Wolves have fewer pts in the last 6 games. We're 18th in the form table. That obviously can't continue. Looking forward to seeing them again though!

I remember David Icke talking a lot years ago about a global paedo network of the most high powered individuals, including Savile, royals, politicians, and celebrities. Massively called it out.
And, yes, I know he did also say the royals were big lizards but he might be right about that too tbf.

A new thing that should be brought in to the Prem: managers can not be sacked for the first 3 years of their contract. It’d be fascinating, hilarious, and get rid of all the chat about who is a good/bad in the long run.

I’ve such mixed feelings at the moment. Of course, I’m unhappy with how things are going, disgusted with the results, frustrated with the performances but it is all tempered by knowing these are brilliant players who have done & will do incredible things. I believe we’ll end the season like a train.

I'm still trying to find confirmation of why it's nowadays fine for Manchester-born officials to referee Manchester-based clubs. In my day, we weren't allowed to ref teams we had any affiliation with, including place of birth.

the Atletico lad in a clearly offside position and running right across Alisson's view of the shot and blocking his sight of the ball and stopping him being able to move towards the ball to save it was not interfering apparently.

I'm not saying there's corruption (though Coote proved there was) but when did they change the rule/guideline that refs couldn't ref their hometown clubs? That was always a thing for years and years but suddenly seemed to change around the time that most of the refs started coming from Manchester.

Just reminding myself that actually we had a lot of really good chances in the 2nd half. Gakpo's open goal miss (again), Salah's dink that shaved the far post (should've scored), Dom's scorcher (well saved), a near own-goal that whistled just over (jammy)....we could have somehow got something today

Any team that allows themselves to be bossed & scored against by a player like Doku, who typically has such little actual impact, deserves to lose. In fact, probably ought to be relegated.
Hopefully we'll stay up and have a proper go at things next time.
