Steam is a great ecosystem for, like, 70% of my gaming preferences. Going to try using it a bit more (while reserving PlayStation for the AAA titles I don't want to experience via Steam Deck).

Feel free to add me if you'd like! steamcommunity.com/id/ArcMoogle/

A PlayStation guy, but I've been known to dabble. Playing primarily on Steam Deck and, rarely, macOS.

I'll continue to cope by maintaining a permanent state of optimism and thinking we'll all ultimately be fine.

Apparently Eritrea 🇪🇷 isn't very permissive with .er TLDs, so my dream of owning of benschroed.er will remain just that. 😔

Just finished Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

Too soon to say it's my favorite game ever? Probably. But it sticks the landing so well and I'm going to be thinking about it for a long time.

If anyone in my network knows of a business (or is an independent artist/creator/etc.) who would be willing to donate to a cool LGBTQ org’s auction, please let me know! Doesn’t matter how big or small!

(I’m on the Board for this org and soliciting donations this year has been brutal.)

Got a Steam Deck and confused about which of your games work on it? Wonder what those little icons mean? Here's a handy official guide to help you start with PC gaming on the go!

If you truly believe you're capable of living without Facebook/Twitter/Instagram, now is a great time to prove it! Otherwise I'll assume you're a helpless addict.

All of those excuses for why it's absolutely vital to keep your Facebook account are just that — excuses.

I try not to police other's consumption habits, but this is a pretty firm line in the sand for anyone who claims to support those of us in the LGBTQ community.
Meta literally created a LGBTQ exception for calling someone mentally ill as an insult. You can't do it for any other group except LGBTQ people.

the progression of AIDS treatment in my lifetime, from how terrifying it was as a child in the 80s to stories like this 40-odd years later, is genuinely one of the human race’s most awe-inspiring scientific achievements. it was a nonnegotiable death sentence for SO LONG
After nearly three decades, a Minnesota summer camp for kids with HIV/AIDS is closing and up for sale... because retroviral drugs are so effective that there aren't enough campers.

Science works, y'all.

Closure of northern Minnesota camp is ‘the greatest story.’ Here’s why.

I am deeply uncomfortable with so many people online glorifying a murderer.

Vigilantism doesn't lead anywhere good. In fact, it almost always leads to indiscriminate witch hunts.

Happy #GivingTuesday! If you're looking for a great org to support, please consider the LGBTQ Center OC. I've volunteered there for a few years, but now I'm on the Board of Directors!

I'm happy to speak to the Center's great work. It's a vital resource in an area where it's tough to be #LGBTQ.
