Has there ever been a study where an age-controlled set of the population is quizzed over time about the same period of time? Like, every year, survey a bunch of people and ask them how 1983 was, and then see how the response evolves over time.

they don't tell you this, but when someone sets up a meeting that includes you, you can just send your info upfront to be helpful, and like 50% of the time this will obviate the need for a 45min meeting with 5-10mins of effort
