⚠️ While extent will not be setting any annual minimum records this year, the average thickness of #Arctic sea ice is actually at historic lows for this time of year (in the dataset by PIOMAS). Thinner ice is younger and usually more fragile.

Sorry to hear this. This has been a prestigious & competitive fellowship program that has helped train next gen of science leaders. Alumni of this program are impressive. I had the honor of meeting fellows at AGU. While at NOAA we had the Sci Advisory Board review the program. It got very high marks

It's with a lot of mixed emotions that I'm announcing that last week was my last at EPA. I decided to take the offer to leave. I was hired as EPA's first director of the newly created Office of Climate Adaptation & Sustainability.
