Rev. Jesse Jackson's "I *am* somebody..." remains one of the all-time great pieces of 20th century rhetoric / agitprop

And he could deliver it at a Black separatist meeting, the Democratic National Convention, or on god-blessed Sesame Street (see below 🥹)

RIP to the Voice of the Voiceless

AI's most immediate, obvious threat is as a force multiplier. The fraudster can create several AI accounts to carry out their work, governments can create tens of thousands or more. There are no honest applications for this

Japan & the UK are absolutely sham democracies. Germany’s an outpost of the US. France ignored its elections of the popular front to keep trying to install centrist PM and its paralysed the government. Glad you enjoy the ritual of voting unimpeded I guess but let’s be real here
It's great to live in a country (Canada, Japan, UK, France, Germany, Sweden, Italy, etc.) where citizens don't worry about if the next election will be canceled, if they will be allowed to register to vote, if they will have to stand in line for hours to vote, or if their vote will be counted.

we should give the phrase 'concrete monstrosity' a Grade II listing. Sure, examples are plentiful right now but we need to preserve it for future generations to illustrate how unimaginative the conservative mind is www.telegraph.co.uk/art/architec...
The Southbank Centre should be torn down, not listed
Some bleak brutalism ought to be preserved as an example to future architects of what not to do. Just not this concrete monstrosity

Peak snowdrop time in South Lincolnshire and Peterborough - filling churchyards and popping up on lots of country road verges. Straightforward Snowdrop is most frequently encountered, but Greater Snowdrop and Green Snowdrop seem to be increasing locally
