I’m making note of the MKE HST(F?). MKE is commonly Milwaukee, and Homeland Security Task Force.

I am concerned even more that they will lift and shift to Milwaukee area. Reports of them staging in MKE downtown Hilton for some sweep. They want a forward operating base on the MN border.

Keep this in mind as we start seeing more and more large scale outages from AWS, Cloudflare, Github, etc. These are the companies hoping to increasingly automate their systems with AI

I'll be at the conference as volunteer / moderator for some of the classes. I'll be able to peek in on this one and it is of great interest to me, and will appreciate any info on this I glean from other attendees or when I inevitably run into you in Deadwood.

People are breaking their bones in contorting themselves to celebrate an individual whose ceiling of decorum is the floor for most everyone else.

Debating African Americans without calling them a slur or debating LGBTQ+ without spitting on them does not a Presidential Medal of Freedom earn.

There is @soberincyber.bsky.social that makes it to a lot of cons, and they put on sober alternatives. I think they will be in Deadwood for WWHF soon, last year they took over a soda saloon and it was excellent.

It deploys a Skynet to gently keep your socks from being lost in the wash. Cleans up stubborn stains from that WOPR sandwich. Has a Hydro Assessment Level 9000 certification that constantly manages water usage. Traps dirt inside a complex Matrix that is difficult to escape from.

👆This. Relevant to a recent resignation. (IYKYK)

I love giving everything I can to a cause, time and energy, but there are limits.

Not referring to my employer, they’re outstanding and I’m still with them. 🙂✌️

Notable SEC 8-K from the past month. They were still investigating a cyber incident. Lot of things marked as “unknown”.

I said the same thing and got sent this info on how incorrect it is. I do value your comments on this, though.
ICEBlock is incredibly false privacy claims for marketing. They falsely claim it provides complete anonymity when it doesn't. They're ignoring both data kept by Apple and data available to the server but not stored. They're also spreading misinformation about Android:

I know this is the sentiment for US politics, but it applies to a lot of the good fights and caring for others and when doing missing person work and looking into human trafficking, it is the same deal. Fighting evil of any form needs such care described here.

Interested in doing well in your first Trace Labs OSINT Search Party CTF this summer? Or if you’ve helped before, perhaps improving your tradecraft to better help the missing person problem?

I like doing scream karaoke (screamaroke?) to Dragonforce’s Through The Fire and The Flame. Actually hitting and understanding all the lyrics, the song supplements therapy.

Yes, this! It was such a habit to stop subtly matching step with everyone when I was out. Took years. I noticed right away and think it is a subtle protest or signal to other military of “yeah, we don’t want to be here but can’t actively say anything.” Saw troops on spring shoes too that stood out.

The music video is really great for that dark feel. I watched it in VR with a giant screen and it was epic.

I feel like the next chapter in this history book will be a name, currently obscure, that will be the name of a victim or assailant that kicks off the next wild ride. Gavrilo Princip, for example. I’m not giving space to more modern examples, but everyone learned of his victim’s name.

I had not considered the art file being shared. I love they are gaining popularity and those audiences are ones I want to reach.

I think I may share the file with a “show proof of donating to a relevant charity of your choice” . Like $10 for every 100 you want to print. But I will work that out.

Spotify is being judgy, not sure what it is picking up on but if I want to be Emily Dickinson, let me be. That said, the suggested playlist *is* a banger, so I’ll settle into the cyberpunk vibes.
