New paper: “Uncertain Network Dynamics”
I analyze the dynamic transmission across a network of shocks with uncertain dynamic properties, which can capture both exogenous stochastic shocks & uncertainty in the network structure.

Average payroll growth of 14.5k over the last 6 months and yet an unemployment rate that is barely moving and now at 4.4%, suggesting we are in the ballpark of full employment. How can that be? Immigration. Read my nytimes op-ed.

When I got tix for Nuggets-Sixers, seemed like a great matchup with Jokic vs Embiid. Unfortunately *all* Denver starters (& more) out with injury. Below is all we saw of Jokic. Biggest shock was Denver still won.

Network dynamics for the holidays: here a path network. It has local diffusion and reflection at the boundaries. It’s kind of an intermediate case between complete & star networks, as it can dissipate shocks, but only locally. The worst-case shock for disagreement pushes one end up, the other down.
