Smith doesn’t speak for me. Scared Albertan, worried for our kids and our rights. Determined to fight back and not let hate win. We can undo whatever these UCP nuts do. Right?!?
Even though Albertan’s don’t want this, she proceeds. Marlaina, we see what you’re doing. Making local elections partisan. Hoping for UCP party members on our city councils to vote for this shit. Putting yourselves above the law. We don’t want a provincial force. But that won’t stop you, will it?

My MLA fights hard for us. But Smith & the UCP? I don’t think they think about my daughter crying in pain, waiting 6 hours in the ER to be seen. I don’t think they plan to do anything to make it better for our children. We need the by-election. Danielle fears debate with Nenshi. I need this debated.
Opinion: We are Edmonton pediatric emergency doctors — and we need your help
Without substantial investment in children’s healthcare, the gaps will widen, leaving families to bear the consequences.

Bears repeating everyday as some UCP mouthpieces speak out the side of their mouths saying otherwise: We Albertans will fight to remain Canadians. The small few who won’t are welcome to become immigrants in the country who is detaining immigrants and make of that what they will.

My daughter and I walk at the river every day, to know my ancestors and the land. To know our future. Meanwhile, the UCP attack our children, our families. For money. I know the UCP do not connect with land, do not understand it belongs to us all. They would not sell out our children if they did.

Nothing but grifters for their crony friends. We want our healthcare back to where it takes care of our people? The UCP will never deliver it.
This is a story about how conservative keep attempting - and failing at great public expense - to embed private, for-profit healthcare in Alberta's public system.

We hated the old premier, who warned us he was the best option and that if he wasn’t in charge “the looneys would take over the asylum”. Most of us knew who he meant. And it happened. So please, don’t dump on all of us. We didn’t ask for this, particularly in Edmonton. She’s punishing us hard now.
Been aiming for less angry posts & more action. Back to remind people across Canada that Danielle Smith wasn’t elected by a majority of Albertans. She won the leadership race of her party after old premier had a bad leadership review & resigned. We did NOT elect her. Something like 2000 people did.

Well, Canada, what’s our plan? How are we gonna make sure we don’t split the vote on the left and let the Cons form government? Because as woman, a Metis, and a mother, I’d really like to protect my rights, our planet, and our children from those that would oppress for their gain. We need a plan.

Anyone know how to get a message across Trudeau & Singh’s desks from a mom in AB with a daughter, begging them to cooperate for the next election? Because splitting the vote on the left feels very stupid right now. I just need them to see me begging them to work together. Our daughters need them.

I am Metis on my mother’s side. My daughter is Metis. When I tell you the rage I feel towards these UCP members harming our future generations for gain today is huge, it’s ancestral, and it’s matrilineal, I cannot adequately express the fire in my belly. 7 generations? They can’t care about 1.

We waited 5 hours in the Stollery last week with my daughter in pain; her second trip there when she’s not “surgical” so they can’t help, and we’re putting cheese back on the shelf at the store because we can’t afford to live in Alberta anymore & have nice things. UCP certainly “fixed” healthcare.

When I hear folks say they’re too depressed or can’t handle politics or fighting back, I get it. I ask them if, in future, they’d like to be a handmaiden or a Martha, or if male, comfy being in charge of one? If they get a choice that is. But I get it. I’d love to leave the fight to someone else too

Just … why? Police aren’t border services, you racist UCP nincompoops. I’m not crossing a border when I go grab groceries or pick the little up from school. Everything anyone needs to know on my DL is already on it. Stop the distraction shenanigans and fix stuff the majority of all Albertans need.

Saw where Nenshi said “we shouldn’t have to grovel” for healthcare in AB. Waited 2 hours this morning to get bloodwork for my little. Took her to hosp 2 weeks ago, but they sent us home. Now she’s worse and I’m grateful we have a family doc to help. Many don’t, and are grovelling. The UCP has to go.

Now more than ever, as I have those hard conversations with the UCP/CPC voters in my circle, I double-down on fighting the narrative that the current iteration of Conservative politician in Canada will help the ‘working people’ next election. Stuff like this helps. Not all the way, but it helps.

Just came over here to see what my fellow Albertan and Canadian libs are thinking. Was getting pretty ugly over in the birdcage.
