Yesterday was the first day that felt like spring in the DMV. Temps in the high 60s with sunshine, robins were singing, crocuses were blooming. It was lovely and hopeful and mild.

This was a magical meditation moment for me in Az in ‘19. I opened my eyes to this JOY. A lot of people were annoyed to have snow when they came for sun, but i appreciated the very rare beauty of snow on cacti. Appreciate every moment for what it brings. Find the special in the everyday & unexpected

I love taking close up textural pictures. Stopping and looking at the small details of something larger out in nature is very mindful for me. And sometimes there is a whole world or ecosystem contained in that tiny microcosm. We need more WONDER and less WORRY. #ice #macro #mindful #wonder
