I realised today how irritating the overuse of quotation marks could be!
I mean "literally" they are "everywhere": pun, emphasis, foreign terms, let alone direct speech.
My #author doesn't like using #italics it seems.

Wondering why many writers capitalise the first letters of the words that are used to form an #acronym for a phrase, even if the phrase is not a proper noun (e.g. AC – Alternating Current).
I don't think there is a style that requires such unusual #casing. Am I missing anything?
