I went to church this morning at the church I grew up in.

This is why I don’t have religious trauma as a queer person.

I live near the lake, so most of my walks are on the beach. I guess I truly do enjoy “long walks on the beach.”

I like to collect sea glass (lake glass?) on my walks. If I slow down enough to really look, I can usually get a good handful on every walk.

I’m going airline customer service.

I’m so excited for 2024, where I’ve set myself up to focus on my own writing and book deadlines and do less of everything else.

Until then, I have the rest of 2023, where I reap what I sowed in terms of over scheduling and am thinking about 9 books at once.

I get to wake up every day and do what I love for 8-10 hours in order to pay my bills. I worked so hard to get here, and I’m so grateful every single day.

I wonder how many problems would be solved if everyone got to do what they love all day.

I’ve been walking a little more lately.

I know there’s only a little more summer left, and I want to be in the sun before I’m depressed until May.

I haven’t been working out, so I am telling myself the walking will be my exercise. I just need to get enough steps.
