Vitally important survey from @bectu.bsky.social showing the ongoing devastation and unemployment across the UK TV industry. And still everyone shrugs as if it’s all ‘just business’. TV will soon become a niche profession reserved for those who can afford it. Appalling.

It's ludicrous that several big companies are not giving ongoing financial support to the Creative Industries Independent Standards Authority.

Industry heavyweights need to put their money where their mouth is if they are serious about lasting change.

We welcome the Prime Minister committing to look again at touring visas ahead of the EU summit.

We need to see firm progress towards an agreement on touring visas and an end to the uncertainty for touring professionals.
PM tells @emilythornberry.bsky.social at Liaison C'tee that the EU Summit is yearly "not just to monitor progress but to go further" each year. Hints that medicines and artists' touring visas are very much on the menu of "common sense changes... that have very little to do with the vote in 2016".~AA
