Hello, I'm Becklo!

I'm a photographer and graphic designer in Detroit, Michigan. I like to take pictures and make stickers.

I do not like advertising myself. But alas, new year, new me. Or something.

Music is necessary when I'm working!

Even if you didn't grow up playing Sonic the Hedgehog on Sega Genesis, this is a wonderful song. But if you played Sonic & Knuckles, this funky jazz cover of Mushroom Hill will probably make your heart sing.

I'm not doing a strict new year resolution adherence because life happens and I don't need to stress myself out over arbitrary rules. That being said, I'm going to try to make at least one new creative thing per week. Here's a zoomed in, rough work in progress that I'm having fun with tonight! #wip

I tried to buy a camera kit online that I said out loud was "too good to be true" and it turns out it was, because it already sold. At least I got a refund. Guess that's a sign to keep looking! I miss taking pictures all the time at random.

I just looked out my studio window and saw a very pretty sky. It might not be a magnificent sunset, but I like how calm it is.
