Rozie would have been 13 today. In March she stopped eating and we found she had internal bleeding from an unknown cause. We miss and love her so much. 😢

She returned to the States, wrote a book, and toured the country speaking on prison reform. After falling on hard times, she pseudonymously moved to my town, New Milford, CT, and lived 23 years as a poor recluse, supported by neighbors and her friends at a local boys' school.
