Cool, hit 200 followers on this app. Here's a fact about #lotr: Theoden did not go to Edoras after Isengard. He went back to Helms Deep, and it's there that Aragorn uses the Palantir, wresting control of it and mastering the seeing stone. It's only after Aragorn leaves, that they return to Edoras.

I rankle at the suggestion Tolkien would have promoted pro-right wing ideologies in his books and writing due to his being Catholic. People who claim to be Christian while promoting right wing ideologies and authoritarianism and fascism are using a perverted version of Christianity.
