Red Sonja sketch cover commission done. I’m extremely happy with this one. I…I don’t really draw “sexy” and to be clear I wasn’t asked to draw a sexy Red Sonja. I do love the power and grime and movement this invokes.

Working out some logo ideas this morning. Might just fly my own freak flag. Still put the LKC logo on the back. I didn’t even start putting my name on the covers until my 3rd book was going to print.

This is the actual 2 page spread layout.
I get that. After dinner I take a 10-15 min nap and have my alarm set. I spend a little time with my daughter and when the family goes off to read in their beds I sit and draw. I had to make it routine, so even if I don’t feel like it I’ll scribble, doodle, do thumbnails or even ink.
