Words of wisdom from a teenager: I’m beginning to doubt the saying knowledge is power. The people in power right now don’t have any knowledge.

When your dog has to take a bunch of drugs to get his annual vaccines and can barely keep his eyes open. Vet gave him a dog biscuit and he literally just let it fall out of his mouth because he didn’t have enough energy to eat it. Usually he can jump a 6’ privacy fence from a dead stop.

Now more than ever, it's important to recognize and, most importantly, fix policies that have long driven mass incarceration while disproportionately impacting Black people.

We got GTA6 in the streets before GTA6 the video game.

Looking at Trumps approval rating I’m reminded that people are dying in the streets because 40% of this country are murderous racists who don’t want to stop it. Their regret is that they aren’t the ones doing it first hand and have to cheer on the COD violence from the sidelines.

One the one hand, I hope the democrats do what is right and block the funding bill. On the other I know many of them think what ICE really needs are new toys like body cams to keep us safe. That would be like buying a kid a shiny new bike because they play too many video games.

It is past time to demonize and point fingers. The fingers point themselves in the videos. It is time for solidarity and action.

Today I learned a new word: tittynope. Surprisingly safe to google. But until it gets back into the common vernacular I’m not using it in polite company.

Ever wonder what eating one of these would be like? Me neither! But if you did, try a mushroom. Both arachnids and fungi use chitin for structural support.

It's getting cold here in Providence, and our distro fund is currently overdrawn because we had to buy more cold weather and harm reduction supplies for our unhoused neighbors. Please send what you can!

Today my 15yo taught me that trickle down theory actually started with Alexander Hamilton. As if I needed another reason to believe this country was founded on greed disguised as freedom.

Love the irony in how the latest ICE action is named after a beloved children’s book about the power of community and self sacrifice, Charlotte’s Web.

Today in physics class we talked about the Black Panthers. We’re using the Ising model to understand social dynamics.

Whenever some petty little man gets angry with me and throws a tantrum, I like to remind myself of Rumplestiltskin’s ending in the fairy tale. He got so angry about losing he literally tears himself apart. That’s what these men are doing. Tearing themselves apart because I won.

You do not need to get back to Nature. It’s already all around you. The mind blowing mechanics of the quantum world are happening inside you right now. Your minimalist home is teeming with microbial life. Want to make it more visible? Don’t wash your dishes for a few days. “Nature” will show up.

The cuteness of woodchucks is really underrated. Look at the cute lil ears n lil nose n big ole belly and ignore the fact that this monster would decimate your garden, munching every thing even remotely edible in about 10.2 seconds!

Bought a Hmong cucumber today from a local farmer at the Flea Market. Biggest cucumber I have ever seen. The flea market seems to have better vegetables than the farmers market. I asked a farmer why and learned the low entry cost and fewer rules makes flea markets a good alternative for them.

When children are confined in adult facilities, they face greater safety risks, and fewer age-appropriate services are available to them.

The carceral system is no place for children.
