1899 (2022) ★★★★
Coming from the writers of DARK this was another really good, mind-bending sci-fi series. Too bad it was canceled. I would've loved to see more.

Dark (2017) ★★★★★
Still one of my favorite sci-fi / mystery series. Even though Season 3 was not as good as the earlier seasons, it ended in a cohesive ending. If you are a fan of sci-fi and small-town mysteries, g...

Seeing grok generating non-consent photo edits of women (sometimes even on underaged girls) and posts them publicly without any control of the victim is borderline diabolical.

Another reason to nuke this platform and Elons net worth. Holy shit.

Why does Github run Actions on forked projects?
I forked a project that runs upstream-checks for Firefox via a cronjob & now it runs on my forked copy of the project as well. Is there a way to disable that?

I can't decide what the biggest tech-fuckup of this month was.

The Discord update that automatically restarts the app if it goes over 4GB ram usage (instead of fixing memory leaks) or Whatsapp replacing the native Windows app with a web wrapper that costs 400% the amount of RAM.

It's still crazy how bad Arc was handled, specially on Windows. This is Arc on Windows where the dev tools for whatever reason have momentum/velocity when they're resized ALWAYS tripping me up and mostly being the reason I abandoned the browser on Windows.

I still hope @matrix.org can replace Discord. I know Discord needs to pull in investor cash but the platform became so bloated for what it's meant to do.

If you are still on Twitter you are directly supporting Fascism.

You are.

That makes you... yeah... I know, post here, omg what can I do to stand up to trump, just little old me? Well, since you can't do the bare minimum, I will just assume the "worse"/truth?

You don't think it's important.

Is this the general feeling the US builders/tech scene has about europe?

I mean yeah, our laws can be tough but they exist for a good reason. Just because there's a bad actor doesn't mean all of us don't want to do business or try to rip the US off.

So I tried X again after being social media inactive for a few weeks again and must say engagement over there is still super low if you don't pay up for it.

I don't know what holds most of tech twitter (or in general any niche) over there except big names.

What are the best rust resources you know that even a Javascript dev like me can understand? (The Rust syntax looks super confusing).

I created an Omarchy VM yesterday while chilling in bed and slept in while it was installing, closed the Mac and all.

Now I wake up and the installation just... continues? I'm genuinely impressed, would've thought everything was broken now and I had to restart the setup.

I started working on a new side project inspired by Statamic.

Nothing to show off yet except the general idea.

Table Column Widths in Tiptap will now be correctly parsed from Google Docs / MS Word. Don't know how this flew over my head for so long.

We soft-launched Tiptap's recent major version last weekend from Malaga and didn't post about it yet.

I just wrote up a minimal changelog as we broke Github's changelog content size limits.

Happy to have this out and to go forward much faster now.

It's actually a wonder there are no verification standards for identity yet. Not that I cry for more control in general but it be a good way to identify yourself on online platforms to make laws work and to combat identity theft online.
