Call it a “New World Order” or a “Trade and Defence Realignment,” but the shift is real. Canada & China struck a major deal, the EU made deals with Brazil and India, and NATO deployed to Greenland, all in 2 days. Whatever this is, it’s a global realignment happening without the U.S. at the centre.

We will get a trickle of Chinese made EVs every year, 50,000, but will start making EVs in Canada with the Chinese too! Bye bye overpriced Swasticars!!
We will see these on the road along with Hondas and other Asian car nows! Woop woop, quality and safety instead of unsafe Teslerrrr.
We came to Beijing for Canada to forge a new strategic partnership with China — we’ll be returning with a new trade agreement and billions of dollars in export markets unlocked for Canadian workers.

Denmark is boosting its military presence in Greenland with a small “tripwire” force meant to deter escalation. It’s not a NATO mission, though allies like Germany and Sweden may join. Canada hasn’t committed, and experts say joining would carry major political weight.
