Are we the safest city in North Carolina? No. Like anywhere else, we’ve got our share of problems. But let’s be real - there are at least ten other places that deserve way more scrutiny than us. Folks aren’t ready for that conversation (especially the loudest politicians cheering this mess on).

One thing I’ll say about Charlotte - we may carry southern charm, but we’re also a tough city with some damn good people. And when it comes to standing up for what’s right, we don’t hesitate. What’s happening here right now? Absolutely atrocious. Pathetic. Unwarranted.
