Respirator masks work.

We need local portacount options to fit test masks.

We need clean air mitigations:UVC & hepa purifiers in buildings & healthcare facilities.

No need to disable yourself to fit in, those you’re fitting in with will disregard you the minute you aren’t
healthy.
This is from a symposium of the Worlds leading long covid experts (August 2025) . H/t Charlos on X. This should tell everyone what you need to know. Not one long covid expert without a respirator, no non maskers or gappy surgicals in sight. Experts know it’s airborne and know the health risks.

Did you ever notice that companies that brag about clean ingredients love to make it hard to see their ingredient lists?

I’m tired of blood feeding insects deciding that my family are a meal!
We had good cold weather last winter! Why are the ticks & fleas so abundant this fall?

Check yourselves!
Test the tick, if you find a tick attached(time attached to infection relation is a myth).
Treat per ILADS protocol.

Pretending, ignoring or denying your disability doesn’t make you able bodied. It just means you’re lying to the most important person……you!

Without acknowledgment of reality there can be no peace.

Listen to disabled folks. They have walked the path & it’s not easy.

Early 60’s Bday Ramblings: I never considered I’d be disabled. Dead yes! Disabled no. Dead would have been so much easier, much less costly, & less humiliating.

When quality of life only allows little contributions, you appreciate small things.

One little daily action I am afforded is to only use limited plastic bags & wash & reuse the ones I need to use.

While I’m performing the washing, I imagine a bright future where we have better alternatives.

🦠Infection bad!
🚫💪Our immunity is not a muscle!
⚕️A respirator mask is the best way to stay healthy.
💨😤We should be investing & insisting on clean air technology requirements in public & private spaces z

💯% accurate!
25 yrs ago I was in bullet proof physical shape. I got a cold/virus that wasn’t terrible. I lost 40% of my physical & neuro capabilities in days. I’ve continued to loose capabilities over the yrs. I ate healthy, exercised & wasn’t spared.
I’m now mostly bed tethered. It’s not fun!

And we do this with compassion and kindness despite the way we’ve been treated.

We show up for you even when you wouldn’t show up for us.

Please, consider saying sorry. Consider acknowledging the way you treated us.

It would mean a lot. /end

Over fly season!
The elimination of them is sucking up valuable energy.
Plus I don’t like eliminating them.
I need a very hungry pet frog that could live outside all year until fly season, then gets house privileges.
My cat & dog should be joyfully exterminating the flies but they are to bougie.

I will do NO HARM to the best of my ability
I will NOT spread pathogens (to the best of my ability)
I will avoid getting ill (so I can work)
I will adapt, learn and help others.
BECAUSE I KNOW THAT SARS2 is airborne.
If it means protecting myself and you from harmful pathogens, I will continue to mask with ffp2
I will do no harm, to the best of my ability
Seeing H5N1 rearing up, we must continue to reduce the spread of airborne pathogens

I guess “ignorance is bliss”, is not just a saying.
I’m glad to be a learner.
Why do some people choose NOT to wear a n95 or ffp2?
One possible reason:
scitechdaily.com/id-rather-no...
/When given the choice, 40% of people will choose ignorance, often in order to have an excuse to act selfishly, according to research published by the American Psychological Association./
“I’d Rather Not Know” – The Science Behind Willful Ignorance
Choosing not to learn consequences allows people to act selfishly while maintaining positive self-image, research suggests. When given the choice to learn how their actions will affect someone else, 4...

I’m watching a movie. The actor runs up 2 flights of stairs.
I’m gobsmacked & momentarily catapulted back to when I would kayak a class 2-4 River, cook dinner & drive hours home.
My current energy envelope is so detached from my history & “normal capacity”.
Grief hovers over my bed tethered body.
