So down in London Village last week, we visited Danny Trejo’s Taco place, Notting Hill bits and Les Mis at 40.

My favourite musical is celebrating 40 years on the West End so Mrs B and I are off Tomlinson Village to see it towards the end of the month. Next year Les Mis is visiting Birmingham, it would be very impolite not going seeing as they made the effort… not cheap but bloody hell it’s worth it.

After receiving my Dads wedding band back with the diamond from my mums diamond from her engagement ring, well it made my wedding band with the only diamond my grandmother had (dads side) über dull. So out with my little dremel and polish and polish away.

@loreleiking.bsky.social this reminded me of your #blackhistorymonth Meet Donna Jean Barksdale, an 11-year-old one of the first Black students to integrate in a whitę school in Arkansas in 1955 not that long ago since BIack children were not allowed to sit in the same classrooms as whitę kids.

Well 1st month of retirement has been fun, recorded all the vocals for the first track of the album. Done some good cooking, been out for a few wonderful meals. Made the best BBQ sauce ever! It is just awesome sweet, sour and hot. The test batch is amazing, I now have to work out costings..

Yesterday after hunting online I found a recipe for Tony Romas hot BBQ sauce. I had to find some ingredients like black strap molasses and dark corn syrup. I could use substitutes like treacle and golden syrup! But I wanted to make the stuff I remember from my visits to the US. This is banging!!

Working on the first mix of the 1st track, just editing out bits and bobs like massive breaths!!! Can’t stand them in a final mix. Getting the balances right for the strings and brass, BV’s. Stopping for today, only want this to be 100% fun and well I can stop no deadline.
