Ok, attempted to solve two separate problems on two bikes. Hit stumbling blocks on both. Time to rethink and have a coffee...

I have got a theory, that when they would get their tyres dirty, it's acceptable to be parking completely on the street, but otherwise you rather ruin the pavement in Bearsden. #badparkingbearsden
So a strip of lawn (or mud at the moment) between pavement and street leads to good parking.

I think, a small group of Fairies has settled down in the Mains plantation in Bearsden... Three or four so far....
