After learning of a friend's passing last week, I'm struggling a bit to process everything and deal with it. We weren't super close, but he lived at my place for a short period while getting himself sorted. He was a good friend. I have sadness.

I've driven my car a total of 425km since 1 July. That explains why I've only purchased gasoline once in August. Living in the CBD saves me a fortune. I should sell my car.

I've taken a day off work today (annual leave) to catch up on life. The stuff I'm dealing with has taken too much of my time and energy and I need to catch up on it all.

I'm planning on a road trip away at the end of the year. It is nice to have something to plan and look forward to. Nearly 1000km each way. Thinking of hiring a car and not using mine.

Since I have not been dealing with legal issues, I’ve felt less self-harmy. That may all end later this month when I have to deal with stuff again. Wish me luck.
