How will we get through this troubled time? In a country filled with liars, be someone who tells the truth. Tho our leaders are filled with fear & loathing, offer your trust & friendship. When people are being ostracized for their differences, you reach out & hold on to them w/ strength & caring.

That’s so sad & disturbing. AIPAC is casting a dark shadow on the entire US Jewish population by supporting values so counter to those shared by most of us: welcoming the stranger, caring for the needy, pursuing justice & peace, recognizing a spark of the divine in all humanity, & liberal democracy.

In my limited understanding, AIPAC wasn’t always like this. But over years/decades, as they shifted to the right, supporting more extreme policies, the more liberal members left. It’s now extreme & unbalanced. A way to change them might be to undo that imbalance, but it’d be very difficult.

The original post in my example came from a different thread re a Dem Rep. The commenter I responded to brought up AIPAC, out of the blue, trying to show corruption. It was typical of many posts I see that reference AIPAC, zionist, Israel, & genocide, using those labels in place of “Jew.” #JewHate

🫣 I won’t look at it.

I’m online a lot and don’t know about the track AIPAC site. Pls don’t tell me more or give me the link. I don’t want to see it. I’m already stressed from being online too much already.

Plenty of people do already, partly Jew haters and partly policy disagreements.

Just in case I need to say this, I don’t support AIPAC at all and disagree with their politics. I’m more of a J Street Jew 😁

I accused a commenter of antisemitism bc of his anti AIPAC stance. He countered w/ AIPAC ≠ Israel. I said my point is that if you single out AIPAC & don’t include mega-donors in Big Oil, Big Ag, Big Pharma, etc…, it’s an antisemitic dog whistle.

Using Ring to hunt down brown & black people & girls & women.

This is how men run the world.

I prefer evolved & humane efforts to make the world a safer, more loving place to those this regime prefers: hunt PoC & women, traffic girls to predators, make money off them.

You know, the mobster way.
we need to talk about that Ring Super Bowl ad

When you single out a Jewish organization for undue influence in national politics and don’t bring up other orgs that have outsize influence, AND it’s not a conversation about Israel, it’s a dog whistle, whether you’re aware of it or not.

Weird & offensive that you single out AIPAC instead of all PACs and mega donors like big oil, big pharma, big ag… (obvious antisemitic dog whistle)

Perhaps. I generally think they just don’t care at all about anyone other than their own family or close friends. No empathy or sense of human compassion. Even their religious communities see empathy as weakness.
